Guinea official: Gilasi withdrew from the national team training camp early due to injury and has returned to Dortmund
According to official news from the Guinea Football Association, Gilasi has withdrawn from the current national team roster due to injury.
The announcement is as follows:
With the approval of the technical team, national team forward Gilasi has left the training camp and returned to his club Dortmund.
Despite his poor physical condition, Gilasi still insisted on coming to participate in the national team assembly out of his love for Guinea and respect for the technical team.
The player has also made it clear to the team that he wishes to return to the club after participating in at least one game as a way to express support for his teammates through personal participation.
After arriving at Casablanca Mohammed V Airport with the national team delegation on Friday morning, Gilasi took a flight to Germany.
The Guinea Football Association, technical team, players and the public in the sports community wish Gilasi a speedy recovery and look forward to his return to the team as soon as possible.
