According to the Spanish media "Marca", the first football player to receive a disability pension, Malaga legendary central defender Pepe Brescia, died in his hometown of Al Laurin El Grande at the age of 68.
Brescia wore a Malaga robe and fought for 9 seasons, becoming a key figure in the club's glorious period. He personally experienced Malaga's classic victory over Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, when Malaga was moving to Spain's first and second-tier leagues.
