In an exclusive interview with "World Sports News", Spanish midfielder Olmo talked about his current physical condition, exclusive training plan, injuries and other topics.

How is your physical condition?

——Good, much better now. I have just recovered from the discomfort that kept me out of the squad last time and I am now getting back into shape after playing three games for Barca. I feel great, very comfortable, training hard and ready to get back to the top.

Many people are talking about your exclusive plan. What does this plan include? What changes have you made?

- Well, there was a plan, that much was clear. I've unfortunately had some issues in my career and I know my body well and I know what I need. I try to prevent these types of problems as much as possible on and off the court and in the gym. But at the end of the day, it's football and you can't control everything 100%, but I'll do my best to be at my best.

They say you are very meticulous, you do a lot of physical therapy, you focus on prevention, in the gym and even in your diet, you have a chef who makes meal plans for you

- Yes, all of this is invisible behind the scenes, off the field work, I believe that. You have to work hard on the field and off the field too because it makes a difference. Recovery is important: nutrition, sleep, rest...I always strive for near perfection in this area. I feel good, I work hard to do this and always try to be ready.

Okay, changing the topic, do all these physical problems have an impact on your mental state? Because sometimes, the thought of being injured again seems more painful than the injury itself, because it will bring a lot of trouble

-you know, injury is not a pleasant thing for any player. I want to emphasize this now, especially during my time at Barcelona, where I encountered more problems than in my entire career. I’ve been trying to focus on these unseen, behind-the-scenes efforts.

Barcelona now has a lot of media attention and a lot of talk, but this doesn't worry me. I know what I have to do and what works for me. I am always learning and have full confidence that everything I do now will serve me well in the future.

You didn't reveal too many details about the changes you made, but in the eyes of the media, Barcelona is a completely different story, isn't it? Everything that happens there is amplified. Does this surprise you?

- No, not really. I've known it for a long time, I was already familiar with this situation when I was in La Masia's youth academy. Some of my teammates in the national team have been with the Barcelona first team for longer, so I'm not new to this. So, this doesn't surprise me.
