German media Biography reported that former Danish coach Casper Jurmand will serve as the new head coach of Leverkusen.
Juermand will replace Tenghach, who lost the Leverkusen coach position on September 1 after leading the team in only three official games.
After resigning from the position of head coach of the Denmark national team after the 2024 European Cup, Jurmand has been unemployed and is expected to take the Leverkusen coaching seat for the first time in his home game against Frankfurt.
Interestingly, Jurmand's first Champions League match with Leverkusen happened to be away against Danish team Copenhagen, where he played the Paken National Stadium when he was the head coach of the national team.
