The court ruled that Benyedel needed to compensate his wife for more than 30,000 euros, including a fine of 600 euros per day, a total of 150 days, and an additional 32,000 euros, which is exactly the amount requested by the plaintiff's lawyer.

In addition, he was asked to take a prevention course on the prevention of domestic violence within six months. If the course is not completed as required, he will face a penalty of one year in prison, and Benyeder has now decided to appeal the judgment. The court's judgment was based on telephone recordings, from which Benyeder could be heard threatening, using derogatory and insulting language to his wife. And Ben Yedel cut off his wife's financial resources, and medical certificates showed that his wife was rated as a total incapacity of work (ITT) for eight days, but no evidence of physical violence was found.

Benyeder was convicted of tax evasion while playing in Seville in Spain. In addition, he was also charged with suspected rape in 2023, and the case is still under trial in Nice.

Benyedel did not attend the trial on Wednesday, and his lawyers only confirmed that they would appeal.
