La Liga Chairman Tebas updated social media in response to European Sports Affairs Commissioner Mikarev's criticism of La Liga's plan to host overseas games (please see the relevant news attached to this article).
Tebas wrote: "I understand this concern, but we need to look at the issue objectively. What we are discussing is only one of the 380 games of La Liga in the whole season. Many countries around the world have fans of La Liga, and they have the right to watch the game they support the team at least once. At the same time, I am puzzled by the NBA's entry into Europe, piracy and infringement and other issues that have not caused similar concerns. These things have really fundamentally broken the European sports model. Is it really a big problem to go overseas to hold one of the 380 La Liga events?"
