Former Lakers player Brian Shaw talked about the increasing salary levels of NBA players in the podcast show Byron Scott 's Fast Break.
"I only made $150,000 in the first few years in the NBA, and then the players asked me, 'Coach, how do you live with this little money?'. When I was a coach, I had a 9- to 10-day East Coast trip with my own players, and they only brought a backpack and all their luggage were there.
