At around 20:00 on August 14, 2024, Yamal's father Munier Nasravi was stabbed with a knife by a young man named Adria in the Rocafonda community in the Mataro region of Barcelona. At that time, Munier Naslawi was stabbed twice, with the wounds on the chest and the sides of his body respectively. Munier Naslawi was immediately taken to the local Can Ruti Hospital where he received surgery, but fortunately he was not in danger of his life.

There were four people who stabbed Munier, Adria, Adria's father, brother, and a friend, arrested and charged with injury. Adria was imprisoned on August 16 and was not released until January 2025. Since then, four defendants, including Adria, hired lawyers to sue Yamal's father Munier, saying that Munier was the first to hit the person.

media said that the cause of the incident was that Adria's 2-year-old nephew was peeing on the terrace that morning, and happened to pee on Yamal's father Munier who was passing downstairs. The two sides then had an argument and "resolved the dispute" at 20 o'clock that night in a nearby parking lot. So Munier and a group of relatives and friends came to the parking lot, and the defendant also had many family and friends. During the confrontation, Munier first hit someone, breaking Adria's nose with a punch, and the knife was also a friend of Munier. Adria snatched the knife from the opponent and stabbed Munier twice.

Adria said: "A friend of Munier took out a knife at that time. I felt that I had no way out, so I snatched the knife from him. I thought the other party would beat me and even kill me. There were so many of them, and there was a knife. I was unarmed and had nothing." During the investigation, a friend of Munier also admitted that it was Munier who swung the other party (Adria) first.

Now the case has had an unexpected turn, and Yamal's father Munier has changed from a victim to an investigator. The Third Guidance Court of Mataro District is currently investigating the appeal of Adria's party and may charge Munier for the crime of injury.
