Aspiration founder Joseph Sanberg, arrested in March this year and now pleads guilty to two felony charges of telecom fraud, each with a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.

It is worth mentioning that Pablo reported that Sanberg's trial documents showed that Aspiration encountered a financial crisis at the end of 2022. From the fall of 2022 to the spring of 2023, the company raised funds from the outside world for at least 19 times, but they were all rejected. The only investment was Ballmer's investment of 10 million yuan on March 9, 2023.

According to the official statement of the Clippers' official cooperation with Aspiration, in the 2022-23 season when Aspiration was unable to fulfill its sponsorship obligations, the Clippers have terminated their cooperation with Aspiration. But Ballmer still injected $10 million into Aspiration in the name of his personal company before the end of the 22-23 season.

At the end of March 2023, the US government launched an investigation into Aspiration, and finally, in August 24, the company was defined as a fraud company, and founder Sanberg was arrested in March 25.
